Our Three (3) Step Approach To Boundary Surveying

Step 1. Data Collection:

Most of our work today is done either with a survey instrument known as a Total Station with an attached data collector. Angles, distances and elevations are stored in the data collector. When the preliminary field work is complete the survey crew returns back to the office.

Step 2. Data Input:

The data collector is then linked to a PC computer and in minutes the day’s work is downloaded to the computer.

Step 3. Data Transformation & Output:

The data is transferred to a computer. Technicians transform the field data with the use of CADD (Computer Aided Design Drafting) into drawings and plans. These plans become boundary surveys, subdivision plans and site plans.
